Full Job Description
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Engineer / BIM Coordinator to join our team and support the successful delivery of major data centre and infrastructure projects across Europe. A Digital Engineer will support the design and delivery of underground utilities, duct banks, drainage, and reinforced concrete packages. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating 3D models, producing drawings, and supporting clash detection, ensuring construction teams have the right information at the right time. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models for underground services (ducts, drainage, chambers, utilities) and reinforced concrete structures. Produce coordinated drawings, sections, and setting-out information for site use. Support clash detection and resolution processes between services and structural elements. Work with survey data and point clouds to align models to site conditions. Assist with the preparation of construction sequences, layouts, and reinforcement detailing. Ensure models and drawings align with RIBA Stage deliverables and ISO 19650 requirements. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues. Manage and track design changes, ensuring the most up-to-date information is issued to the project team. Provide digital support for concrete pours, service diversions, and underground works. Contribute to innovation by implementing digital tools and workflows (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.) to improve efficiency and accuracy. Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Revit and Navisworks is essential. Familiarity with Civil 3D for site and underground works is preferred. Experience in modelling and coordinating underground services and reinforced concrete works. Understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles. Knowledge of survey integration (point clouds, georeferencing, coordinates). Ability to read, interpret and produce civil and structural drawings. Organised, detail-oriented and proactive problem solver. Previous experience working on data centre, heavy civil engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects is highly desirable. Candidates must have the right to permanently live and work in the UK. If you meet these requirements and are a proactive Digital Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a growing international construction business, we encourage you to apply.
