What You'll Do
What you’ll do at work
·Identify opportunities to improve services and business processes through automation and AI.
·Develop and implement digital solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot and other automation technologies.
·Assist with workflow mapping, process analysis and continuous improvement activities across Council services.
·Support the design, testing and evaluation of AI and automation solutions to ensure they are effective, secure and reliable.
·Practice continuous self-learning to keep up to date with industry trends and developments to enhance relevant skills and take responsibility for own professional development.
· Produce documentation, reports and presentations to demonstrate project outcomes and benefits achieved.
· Support the Digital, Data and Technology team in delivering the Council's digital transformation programme.
Training Outcome
The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into the workings of a Digital Data Technology department, to enable them to apply for either a role in this sector, or another technical role within the organisation, as vacancies arise.
