Full Job Description

As Digital Content Manager, you'll lead and develop a team of five Content Designers, setting priorities, standards and ways of working that turn organisational goals into accessible, effective digital content. You'll manage the team's pipeline, balance capacity and demand, ensure delivery to agreed SLAs, while fostering a supportive culture of coaching and continuous improvement. Working at the centre of several key strategic initiatives, you'll play a leading role in the delivery of BHF's Content Review Cycle and upcoming CMS migration programme. Balancing operational leadership with longer-term planning, you'll help prioritise activity, improve content performance and ensure resources are focused where they can create the greatest value for users and the organisation. As BHF's content champion, you'll work with digital, product, technology, UX, SEO, data and customer journey teams to improve content practice, shape digital direction and build sustainable delivery across the organisation., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. You'll have a strong track record of leading content professionals in a complex digital environment and building high-performing teams that deliver innovative and measurable results. You'll bring:

  • Experience leading, coaching and developing content, content design or digital content teams.
  • Significant experience managing content across large, complex websites and CMS platforms.
  • Strong expertise in content strategy, content design, accessibility and SEO.
  • Experience using analytics, insight and performance data to inform decisions and improve outcomes, including using tools such as GA4, Siteimprove, SemRush
  • The ability to prioritise and delegate competing workstreams and lead content delivery across multiple projects and programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, content transformation or CMS migration activity.
