Full Job Description
This role will play a key part in embedding Kier's Digital-by-Default internal processes, promoting consistent digital ways of working and ensuring project information is planned, managed and delivered in line with client requirements, Kier standards and recognised industry best practice. You'll be supporting the successful delivery of digital construction and information management across our London and Thames Valley projects. What will you be responsible for? As a Digital Construction Manager, you'll be working within the London and Thames Valley team, supporting them in delivering consistent digital outcomes across projects. Your day to day will include:
- Leading the implementation of digital construction and information management processes across assigned projects, supporting project teams to deliver consistent digital outcomes
- Embedding Kier's Digital-by-Default internal processes across project teams, ensuring digital ways of working are adopted from mobilisation through to completion
- Ensuring project information management processes align with ISO 19650-2, including information delivery planning and collaborative production of information
- Providing coaching, mentoring and day-to-day support to Digital Construction Coordinators and wider project teams to improve digital capability
- Championing innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, collaboration, quality and project outcomes through digital tools and workflows
You have a good understanding of BIM, digital construction and information management principles within a design and construction environment - You have working knowledge of ISO 19650-2 and the ability to apply its requirements across project delivery
- You have strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain digital processes, requirements and benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences
- You have proven ability to build effective working relationships with project teams, design partners, clients and supply chain partners
- You are collaborative and approachable, with a passion for digital transformation and the role technology can play in improving construction delivery
