Full Job Description

We are looking for a Digital and Communications Officer to create and deliver high quality external and internal communications and marketing for the Authority. In this role you will be contributing to driving effective external communications through digital channels, managing media and PR enquiries, marketing campaigns and delivering internal communications. You will contribute to marketing to deliver information and encourage use of our products and services. The role provides advice on proactive and reactive external and internal communications.

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, innovative and driven to create high quality communications materials. You will bring your experience of developing and implementing successful marketing and communications and using audience metrics to optimise content. You will have strong web content skills with an ability to create exciting and engaging content. You will have strong written and oral communication skills and experience managing media statements and requests.

The Peak District National Park was the first of Britain's 15 national parks and is still enjoyed by millions, looking for both adventure and a breathing space to escape. It is also the most accessible due its proximity to four major cities of the UK and its 38,000 residents.
