Digital Capabilities and Onboarding Manager

This role will work with in the within the Digital & Data Directorate within the Delivery and Services Team. You will lead multi-disciplinary and matrix managed teams across Tech Services specifically in Infrastructure and User Services. You will deliver small scale changes to existing technology, or the introduction of new technology. These projects could include Tech Refresh and business application implementation. Successful delivery will be underpinned by ensuring in-scope business requirements are delivered within time constraints. This is a critical role in the context of building sustainable capability to operate, support and improve technology services. Joining our department comes with many benefits, including:

• Demonstrate effective delivery management skills to multi-task within tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and clearly between the technical and non-technical partners/stakeholders. Support / host discussions within a multidisciplinary team.
• Determine and plan their team requirements, including allocating resources and prioritising activities, over the short to medium term by fully understanding the business environment in which the team operates, the overall team objectives, ensuring their team fully understands and works to these requirements.
• Work in collaboration with other managers across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
• Provide project support for larger sized projects such as chasing and updating action owners for action point logs, risk logs etc. Secretariat support such as minutes and output notes. Leading on small but defined strands of work contained within a larger project.
