About the Job
The IB has recently embarked upon a digital assessment transformation journey and is starting by transitioning the paper-based Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) examinations to a digital format. Over 4,000 schools will embark on this journey and will need the support from the IB as they transition to digital assessments. The purpose of this role is to discover the challenges schools may face and provide guidance and support accordingly in order for schools to successfully administer digital examinations to DPCP students. This role sits within the Business Development Office, sponsoring the Digital Assessment Initiative.
The Digital Assessment School Support Associate Manager will manage the development, completion, and improvement of projects within the workstream. They will act as the representative for schools so that internal stakeholders and the external digital assessment vendor part of the Digital Assessment Initiative account for the diversity and complexity of IB world schools. In addition, the Digital Assessment School Support Associate Manager will create new support processes, integrate them into the organization, and document learnings for internal changes needed to better serve schools. This individual is responsible for coordinating cross-team and cross-department work, which includes working with the various departments within the Education, Schools, Business Development, and IT office.
- Manage the development, completion, and improvement of projects within the Digital Assessment workstream.
- Act as the representative for schools to ensure internal stakeholders and external vendors account for the diversity and complexity of IB world schools.
- Create and implement new support processes and integrate them into the organization.
- Document learnings to inform internal changes needed to better serve schools.
- Coordinate cross-team and cross-department work with Education, Schools, Business Development, and IT offices.
