We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Dietitian to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, located in Gloucestershire HMP Eastwood Park is a women's prison focused on rehabilitation, wellbeing, and helping individuals build positive futures. Health care is situated in the prison and provides a 24 hour healthcare and has a capacity of around 400 females. As part of this Dietitian role, you will have a varied and rewarding workload, including managing a clinical caseload, delivering training and upskilling staff, facilitating group sessions for patients. Salary Youll receive an annual salary between £21,805 - £24,578 per annum, depending on experience. How will we support you? Main duties of the job As a Dietitian your responsibilities will vary. You will
• Advise on therapeutic diets and specialist nutritional requirements, ensuring these are Deliver a comprehensive dietetic service to patients within the prison, managing a varied and complex caseload.
• Undertake specialist nutritional assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide expert dietary advice and interventions for patients with a range of clinical conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, malnutrition, obesity, and food allergies or intolerances.
• Monitor, review, and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as required.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, prison staff, catering services, and external agencies to ensure effective nutritional care and support.
• Provide nutritional education and health promotion activities to individuals and groups, supporting behaviour change and self-management.

• Dietician Degree Qualification or equivalent - HCPC
• Experience of working as a dietician in a large multi- disciplinary team,
• Health Professions Council Licence to Practice.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
• Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practice
