A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience dietitian to join the North Mersey Stroke service. We invite applications from band 5 or 6 dietitians with experience of working in an acute inpatient setting and an interest in stroke., The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an interest in stroke care, excellent communication skills, a practical and forward thinking approach to service development and evaluation and the ability to work as part of a large team. This post requires active participation in innovation and service improvement initiatives and audit. You will be supported with your personal development goals through annual appraisal and will have regular supervision. You will also be involved with supervision of dietitic students and graduate dietitians as part of your role so strong leadership and communication skills are essential. You will work with the wider team to review performance against national standards and identify areas for improvement, contribute to local team meetings including safety and governance and contribute to training and education programs.,

  • BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics or post graduate Diploma.
  • Current registration with HPC.
  • Membership of BDA or equivalent professional indemnity.

  • Introductory level Clinical Supervisory Skills Training., Broad clinical experience in at least 3 clinical areas, including medical and surgical patients.
