Dietetic Assistant Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Band 4 Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our well-established Nutrition and Dietetic Service at UCLH.In this role, you will support dietitians in delivering high-quality, patient-centred nutritional care across a range of specialist services. You will contribute to both the clinical and administrative aspects of care, helping to ensure patients receive timely, safe, and effective support throughout their hospital journey, including facilitating smooth and efficient discharge planning.This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills within a large, specialist teaching hospital and gain experience across oncology, haematology, gastroenterology, and paediatrics.The Nutrition and Dietetic Service at UCLH is a Trust-wide service providing inpatient and outpatient care across eight sites. We are a large and forward-thinking department, with over 60 dietitians and 4 dietetic assistants delivering specialist adult and
paediatric services. We are committed to providing efficient, evidence-based, and high-quality nutrition care., The Dietetic Assistant Practitioner will support the delivery of a high-quality Nutrition and Dietetic Service at University College Hospital. Working under the supervision of a registered dietitian, the post holder will contribute to both the clinical and administrative aspects of patient care across specialist areas including oncology, haematology, gastroenterology and paediatrics.
