Full Job Description

You will contribute to the work of the Dietetic team. To include a range of clinical duties in acute inpatient settings supporting the role of the registered dietitians. This will include direct patient contact, reviewing the nutrition and dietetic plans of inpatients as delegated by the registered dietitian. Supporting the safe discharge of patients under the care of the dietitian which may include liaising with other healthcare professionals and the associated administration.

At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

The successful applicant will support the delivery of the nutrition and dietetic service within a well-established dietetic team which comprises of 65 dietitians and dietetic assistants in a wide range of dietetic services and specialties in one of the UK's largest Acute Hospital Trusts. The post holder will work in collaboration with nurses, caterers and Speech and Language therapists to support the delivery of dietetic care to patients in a busy acute environment.
