Dietetic Administrator - Community Dietetics Team

Would you like to help the community dietetic team provide nutritional care to patients?
We support patients receiving Home Enteral Feeding, Oral Nutrition support or living with a chronic condition in the community setting and educate those at risk. We are an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team with a strong ethos of mentoring and development.
We rely on our support staff to help us monitor and review the nutritional intake of some of the patients under our care and ensure they receive this care in a timely manner. ., We are looking for someone who is organised, likes to work in a community healthcare environment and enjoys completing administrative tasks to support patient care.
You will help to man our main telephone line, take messages and ensure clinical actions are handed over to the relevant team member. You will book patients into scheduled appointments for home visits or telephone consultations, type dictated letters and restock our supplies of stationary and diet sheets.
You may also carry out organisational or administrative tasks as designated e.g. register patients on the Home Enteral Feeding system; audit, stock checks of nutritional products.
Whilst some existing knowledge of systems such as CWS, Oracle and Welsh PAS would be useful, training will be provided.
