Full Job Description

Operate diamond drilling equipment to extract core samples.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
Prepare drilling sites and ensure safety measures are in place.
Follow all health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Accurately record drilling parameters and core samples.
Work closely with site supervisors, geologists, and team members.
Identify and address issues during drilling operations.
Safely transport drilling equipment and samples.

Previous experience in diamond drilling or a similar role (preferred).
Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card (preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
Valid UK driving license (often required).
Additional certifications in health and safety, first aid, or specific drilling techniques.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
