Are you an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity within a reputable workshop in Poole, Dorset?
Our client, a well-established service centre, is looking to recruit a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This role offers competitive pay, ongoing training, and the chance to develop your expertise within a supportive working environment.

- Monday to Friday working week, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends off

Duties
- Conduct diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Perform engine work, clutch replacements, cambelt changes, and complex mechanical tasks
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within specified service times
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and diagnostics
- Work efficiently within a professional team to meet workshop targets
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the motor trade
- Strong diagnostic skills and a comprehensive understanding of vehicle electronics and engine systems
- Ability to perform timing belt and cambelt changes with minimal supervision
- MOT Tester certification is advantageous
- Master Technician or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician level experience preferred
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
