Diabetes Specialist Nurse

We are delighted to offer a Band 6 vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Diabetes Nurse Specialist to join our expanding team.You will work alongside a friendly, multidisciplinary team including consultants, dietitians, and other specialist nurses., The post holder will develop specialist knowledge and skills through work based learning and development

To support the Diabetes Nurses in providing an evidence-based specialist diabetes nursing service which reflects current local and national guidelines.

The post holder will be accountable for their safe, effective clinical practice and to comply with the statutory NMC requirements.

Provide education and support to patients and their carers to facilitate self-management.
