Full Job Description
You'll be getting hands-on with building modern .NET Core applications and helping us move legacy systems over to newer tech (bonus points if you've touched Ruby or VB, but it's definitely not a must). You'll play a big part in shaping our service-driven architecture, working with .NET Core, APIs and MySQL, and making sure everything we deliver is clean, secure and easy to maintain. You'll build and deploy into Azure, keep our cloud infrastructure resilient, and drive technical improvements from idea stage right through to production. Collaboration is a big part of the role too - whether that's partnering with UI Developers for end-to-end solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, or supporting the rest of the team to level up. You'll be designing and working with RESTful APIs, delivering in a CI/CD environment, and always pushing for high coding standards across the team., musicMagpie is the surprisingly quick and easy way to declutter and get cash for your stuff, which is why millions of people use us every year to sell their mobile phone, games consoles, tablets, smartwatches, CDs, DVDs, games, books, blu-rays & much more. - Proven experience building Web based .NET Solutions
- Experience with Git, GitHub/Azure Dev ops
- Familiarity with agile environments
- Experience/knowledge of developing for the cloud
- Experience with CI and Automation tools
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Be able to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
- Comfortable working independently
- Preferred knowledge of Azure PaaS services
- Preferred eCommerce development
- Experience with modern Frontend technologies React/Vue desirable but not essential
- Experience in TDD desirable but not essential

Each of our cross-functional teams owns a series of platforms, from development and infrastructure through to ongoing support, so you'll be a key part of delivering features, enhancements, and general tech related updates within the team. In addition, our teams maintain their own pipelines and infrastructure using IaC best practices. You'll be working in an agile team, supporting and mentoring the team in design, development and making high level technical decisions, whilst also working with Product Owners, developers, and external stakeholders to define and work towards achievable goals. - 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
