Destination Park Operations Lead

You will have direct responsibility for the Birmingham's Destination Park, the Wildlife & Nature Conservation Centre and Plant Nurseries, ensuring high standards of service, sustainability, and visitor engagement. What you'll be doing...

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing parks operations teams
• Oversee the day-to-day running of destination parks, ensuring safe, efficient operations
• Drive exceptional visitor experiences and set standards for customer service
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning effectively
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
• Identify opportunities for innovation, commercial growth, and continuous improvement

• Proven experience in operations, ideally within grounds maintenance or outdoor environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Understanding of health & safety, risk management, and compliance
• Experience in financial management, resource planning, and performance monitoring
• A customer focused mindset with a passion for high-quality service delivery
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
