Despatch Operative
Location: Bilsthorpe, near Newark
Pay: £14.25£15.00 per hour
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm8:00pm (flexible start/finish times for the right candidate)
We are looking for a reliable Despatch Operative to join our busy team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Using Sage to print dispatch tickets.
- Sorting packed stock by customer and depot.
- Managing stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
- Operating an electric PPT (full training provided).
- Liaising with drivers to ensure safe working practices are followed.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is desirable.
- FLT licence/experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Own transport is essential due to the location.
