Full Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Despatch team as a Despatch Operative on the day shift, to assist in meeting the requirements of the daily schedule whilst working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by our customers. Pay rate: £13.49 per hour Shifts : 4 on 4 off day shift 6:00 to 18:00 The main duties of the role include:
- To complete the requirements of the daily picking sheet distributed by the Despatch Area Lead
- Undertake stock rotation; dispatching finished stock in the correct picking order
- Load and unload products on to and from vehicles as instructed
- To assist during internal / external audits as required
- To communicate any stock shortages to the Despatch Area Lead after completing the orders of each customer
- Ensure the achievement of daily departmental targets as determined by your line manager in a time effective manner
Good level of written and spoken English - Strong attention to detail
