Despatch Administrator

As a Despatch Administrator here at 2 Sisters Scunthorpe, you will have the opportunity to develop a career for life with one of the largest employers in the area; we've been around for over 35 years and are not going anywhere any time soon, currently processing over 2.3 million chickens per week!, Working closely with the Despatch Manager, you will become an integral part of the despatch team, ensuring that the site remains legislatively and contractually compliant. You will ensure adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and Ethical Trading Initiative by properly managing holiday requests and time and attendance sheets, balancing the needs of the Despatch Operatives with the production targets. You will complete daily reports and be able to notice and flag any issues to your manager, ensuring issues do not escalate, helping to ensure we meet the expectations as set out by our customers.

Whilst previous experience in a similar position would be beneficial, this is not a requirement of the role as all training will be provided. You will need to:

• Be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to be able to escalate any issues
• Have a good level of written English with the ability to accurately record data
• Have a good level of attention to detail and be able to manage your own time
• Have a good level of understanding on Microsoft Suites
• Be able to collate data and analyse the results
