Full Job Description
- Provide technical support and maintenance of desktop and mobile devices and software to deliver service excellence to Via IT users.
- Organise the configuration, delivery and installation of hardware and software to Via IT users.
- Assist in the delivery of small and medium-sized IT projects on the company's network infrastructure and desktop estate.¿
- Provide informal training and coaching to Via IT users to assist them in learning current and new systems.
- Evaluate, test and recommend software and hardware for use in the company to increase the efficiency of systems and productivity within the business.
- Ensure that Via IT security standards are adhered to, and any incidents are managed and contained using Via IT security practices.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the Via IT security perimeter, assist in identifying and understanding new and current attack vectors.
A Microsoft Associate-level qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience of desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity gained in a multi-site environment. - Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of service desk operations.
- Excellent hardware and software problem solving skills particularly in relation to desktop and laptop computers, network hardware and Office 365.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
- A Full UK Drivers Licence and ability to travel and cover multiple sites when required for business needs.
