Desktop Engineer

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (banking 30 minutes per week to be used towards the shut down between Christmas and the New Year)
We are looking for a Junior Desktop Engineer to join our growing ICT team, who is looking for both a challenge and to gain experience in a busy ICT environment.
You will work in various locations across the town with a supportive team of other Engineers and Analysts with the aim to deliver exceptional results in a responsive and professional manner.
Working in our busy ICT department, you will assist the team to log, solve and manage service desk tickets at first contact, keeping both customers and engineers informed until completion.

You will have a good understanding of ICT systems and data security. Good organisational, communication and computer skills will also be required, including knowledge of various Microsoft Office software products and Windows Operating systems, as you will gather and collate information, and perform regular administrative activities.
The ability to listen carefully and act on instruction and a willingness to learn is essential.
