Do you love books that pop, flap, fold, make sounds and surprise children?

We're building an exciting new novelty books division at Curious Universe, and we're looking for a creative Midweight Designer to help bring it to life.

Working in a small, agile team alongside an artworker and manager, you'll design imaginative, commercial and trend-led children's novelty books - from board books and sound books to pop-ups and playful interactive formats.

You'll need a strong creative eye, a passion for children's books, and experience designing novelty board books. You'll be confident using Adobe Creative Suite, understand print and artworking requirements, and have a portfolio full of clever, engaging design ideas.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join at the start of something new, shape a growing area of our business, and create books that children will love and retailers will want on their shelves.

This role is based in our Bath Head Office so you will need to be in commuting distance for this role. Some hybrid working is available following probation.
