Full Job Description
- Provide technical and support to the Subject Leader for Design and Technology and other teaching staff as required.
- Advise and assist in lessons as "technician support" when booked by teaching staff.
- Perform day to day cleaning of departmental classrooms and equipment as appropriate.
- Perform day to day maintenance and repair of departmental equipment.
- Arrange for specialist maintenance and testing of departmental equipment.
Oakwood School is seeking a highly motivated Design Technology Technician to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in a busy, safety-focused department delivering an engaging curriculum to 1600 pupils at Key Stage 3 and a wide range of Key Stage 4 options, including Design and Technology, Hospitality and Catering, and Food Preparation and Nutrition.
Salary: £28,546 to £30,581 (FTE): Actual salary based on 32.5 hours is £22,170 - £23, 751 Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.15am to 15.15pm - Flexible) Monday to Friday, term time only Consideration will be given to reduce working hours for the right candidate
