Design & Technology Technician

We are looking for a proactive and organised Design & Technology Technician to support our busy DT and Art department. You will play a key role in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe, well-organised workshops to support high-quality teaching. Key Duties

• Prepare tools, equipment and materials for practical lessons
• Maintain workshops and ensure health and safety compliance
• Support students and staff during practical activities
• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment
• Manage stock, ordering and inventory
• Support CAD/CAM equipment (e.g. laser cutters, 3D printers)
What We're Looking For
• Experience in a workshop, technical or similar environment
• Strong practical and organisational skills
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
• Experience in a school setting
• Knowledge of GCSE Design & Technology
• CAD/CAM experience
