What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that inspire every learner to achieve their full potential.
  • Plan, teach and assess a broad and exciting Design & Technology curriculum, adapting learning to meet individual needs, including those with SEND.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and well-resourced learning environment where curiosity and practical problem-solving thrive.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, celebrate achievement and provide targeted support for pupils who need it most.
  • Develop pupils' literacy, numeracy, digital and employability skills through meaningful Design & Technology projects.
  • Promote independence, resilience, teamwork and confidence through practical learning experiences.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external agencies to support outstanding outcomes.
  • Contribute to wider school life, curriculum development and continuous school improvement.

    PgCert Education or equivalent with DT Experience required
  • Delivers consistently high-quality teaching and has high expectations for every pupil.
  • Can engage and motivate learners with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Understands the importance of inclusive education and effective differentiation.
  • Is a reflective practitioner who is committed to continual professional development.
  • Driving licence required
