Design and Technical Assistant

Pay Rate: £24,869.63 Grade: RCS N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Mon - Fri ( 9:00 -17:00) Location: NorthamptonWhat You'll Be Doing Reporting to the Design & Technical Manager and supporting the Tailoring Room Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our value-added services are delivered to the highest standards. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Organising and supporting the daily activities of the tailoring room
• Creating and sewing personalised name badges
• Operating heat press equipment and carrying out garment personalisation
• Performing garment alterations and quality control checks
• Managing stock counts, inventory accuracy, and product re-packing
• Working with specialist design software such as CorelDRAW
• Assisting with garment measurements and new product launches
• Supporting photography studio activities and product set-ups
• Ensuring daily productivity targets and quality standards are consistently achieved
• Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
• Graduate, preferably in design or technical / fashion.
• Confident knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing methods
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) ability to liaise with people at all levels.
• Ability to work well within a team and also be self motivated.
• Experience of clothing Alterations.
• you well versed in using adobe photo shop
• You are ok to travel with in UK
