Design Manager

As a Design Manager, you'll be working within the Assured Delivery team, supporting them in delivering design excellence across a diverse range of industries, including Transportation, Water, Environment and Energy. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring design programmes and quality standards are met, whilst managing relationships with designers, stakeholders and client teams. Your day to day will include:

-Supporting tenders and Early Contractor Involvement with technical input and management of innovative, compliant design solutions

-Producing and maintaining design programmes, scopes, responsibility matrices and engineering deliverables schedules

-Managing design development and ensuring buildability between construction and design teams to achieve efficient solutions

-Chairing design review meetings, resolving interface issues and closing out technical interfaces between teams

-Collaborating with commercial teams and managing the performance of the internal and external design supply chain

A holder of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline

-Experienced in managing design for multi-disciplinary engineering and construction projects

-Knowledgeable about CDM 2015 and design-related health and safety risk management

-Someone with strong technical and information management skills

-In possession of a Full driving licence
