Full Job Description
As an Design Engineer, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:
-Supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure and river engineering designs
-Reviewing client requirements and contributing to technical solutions
-Assisting with fee proposals and project delivery activities
-Coordinating with engineers and technicians within the design team
-Ensuring designs are compliant with CDM Regulations, SHEMS and QMS requirements
-Supporting project performance, including programme, budget and change control
-Developing alternative design solutions to enhance project outcomes
An experienced civil engineer with a background in infrastructure or river engineering?
-Comfortable supporting design delivery and applying sound engineering judgement?
-Confident working within a team to deliver safe, buildable engineering solutions?
-Passionate about developing your skills and working towards professional chartership?
-A strong collaborator who enjoys working with clients and stakeholders?

-Have postgraduate experience in hydraulic structures, river engineering or similar?

-Hold a full UK driving licence?

We're looking for a Design Engineer to join Kier Design's growing River Infrastructure team. You'll support the delivery of civil infrastructure and river engineering projects, developing safe, buildable solutions that meet client requirements.
You'll work within a collaborative in-house consultancy, contributing to projects for key clients including the Environment Agency, Severn Trent and Mining Remediation Authority.
