Design Bar Host

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Joma Jewellery retail team as a Design Bar Host (Keyholder) at our Milton Keynes flagship store, delivering a truly unique and memorable customer experience through our in-store Design Bar. At the heart of this role is creating something special. You'll welcome customers into their one-hour Design Bar appointment and guide them through creating their very own personalised charm bracelet - from choosing beads, colours and charms to bringing their finished creation together and presenting it beautifully. Combining creativity with exceptional hospitality, you'll build genuine connections with customers and use your product knowledge to inspire their choices. Whether you're talking through design ideas, recommending an additional charm or helping find the perfect gift, you'll make sure every customer leaves with a beautiful piece of jewellery and an experience they'll want to come back for. You will make an impact by creating a Design Bar experience that feels personal, memorable and unmistakably Joma Jewellery. You'll use confident, customer-led recommendations to support sales and build customer loyalty, while helping the wider store deliver exceptional service and commercial performance. When you're not hosting appointments, you'll support customers across the wider shop floor, sharing product and gifting advice and contributing to the overall performance of the store. This role also comes with Keyholder responsibility. As Keyholder you'll also play an important role in the smooth running of the store. You'll confidently open and close when required, lead by example on shift and take ownership of maintaining exceptional customer, operational and brand standards when management isn't present. This is a full-time, store-based role at our Milton Keynes flagship store. As part of our retail team, you'll need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday within store opening hours, including weekends. • Host engaging Design Bar appointments, creating a memorable experience from arrival through to departure.
• Inspire customers through their bracelet creation, guiding their choice of beads, colours and charms and bringing our collections to life.
• Create beautifully finished bracelets and personalised presentation cards with exceptional attention to detail.
• Make relevant, customer-led recommendations to support additional sales, AOV and store KPIs.
• Keep the Design Bar organised, stocked and beautifully presented, ready for every appointment.
• Support customers and selling activity across the wider store when not hosting appointments.
• Take Keyholder responsibility when required, including opening and closing the store and supporting cash handling, security and operational procedures.
• Lead by example on shift, supporting colleagues and maintaining exceptional customer service, brand and store standards.
• Support store events, promotions, visual merchandising and seasonal campaign activity.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to create a positive, high-performing store environment.

• You'll be comfortable taking ownership and leading by example when management isn't present.
• You'll have the confidence to use your initiative, make appropriate decisions and support colleagues on shift.
• You'll be a collaborative team player who is happy to get involved wherever you're needed.
Experience within retail, hospitality, events, workshops or another customer-facing environment would be brilliant, particularly if you've worked within jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, gifting or premium retail.


• £12.99 per hour
• 33 days holiday rising to 35 with length of service inclusive of bank holiday
