Full Job Description

To work as an advance practitioner to effectively deliver an expert nursing service, primarilyfor NMSC, early melanoma and rare skin cancer patients. To ensure this caseload ofpatients and their families are fully informed and supported by providing clinical and socialsupport. To assist in the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practice in line withcurrent research and guideline, and to establish clear lines of communication to ensurecohesive multidisciplinary management of patient.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced dermatology nurse to join the Dermatology Department at the Royal London Hospital as a Skin Cancer CNS on secondment. The successful candidate must be a clinical expert in skin cancer with excellent communication skills. The role requires the ability to work autonomously and independently but within an integrated collaborative team. You will continually develop, implement and evaluate the skin cancer service to improve and maintain standards of patient care and promote a seamless service within a multi-disciplinary team framework.
