About the role The University's Board of Governors and the Vice-Chancellor seek an exceptional individual as Deputy Vice-Chancellor. This is an exciting period with the appointment of our new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Woodman, leading our strategy to 2030. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor will have the opportunity to make a real impact across the institution, providing leadership for our academic offering, developing and delivering our inspiring strategy, and enhancing our reputation as a leading modern university in the UK. - Executive oversight of the effective operation of the university's academic activities
- Line management of the Deans of Schools
- Provide visible and inspiring leadership across the university to shape its future direction
- Commit to furthering the University's progressive principles, such as widening access and promoting equality of opportunity
