Full Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Deputy Theatre Manager to help support and lead our Theatre team at The Horder Centre; supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-focused care in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
As Deputy Theatre Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operational leadership of our theatre department, deputising for the Theatre Manager and ensuring exceptional standards are maintained at all times.
You'll be responsible for:
+ Supporting the operational management of theatres to ensure safe, efficient service delivery.
+ Leading, motivating, and developing a multidisciplinary team
+ Maintaining high standards of clinical care, governance, and patient safety
+ Ensuring compliance with CQC and national standards (e.g. NICE, NatSSIPs)
+ Managing resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and budgets
+ Monitoring performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
+ Acting as a visible leader, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
Leadership & Impact
You'll be instrumental in shaping a supportive and accountable team environment, including:
+ Coaching and developing team members through appraisals and ongoing support
+ Managing performance, wellbeing, and attendance
+ Supporting training, induction, and continuous professional development
+ Driving engagement, collaboration, and service improvement across teams.
We're looking for a confident clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced theatre environment.
Essential:
+ RGN or ODP (Level 3 or equivalent)
+ Previous leadership or supervisory experience
+ Strong clinical background within theatre settings
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support teams.
