Full Job Description
AsDeputy Team Manager for Oak Team, you will support theConsultant Psychiatrist (Clinical Lead)andTeam Manager (Operational Lead),to provide clinical and leadership support to the wider team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as a clinical expert taking a lead role in advancing the development of clinical practice, providing evidence based holistic patient care within a variety of settings, inclusive of the patient's residence and care settings within the community, from undertaking highly complex assessment of presenting condition through to diagnosis, treatment, and discharge, including the administration of medication within agreed clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Co-ordinate the day-to-day clinical activities of the team to ensure the smooth running of the AMHT.
- Manage a small number of patients.
- Providingday-to-day management and clinical supervision to staff, and supporting the ongoing development and performance managementof the team.
- Undertakingclinical duties, including duty shifts, conducting assessments, risk assessing.
- Liaison with other services and stakeholders as required, often acting as a link person for complex situations
- Acting asDuty Manageron a rota that does include weekends and out of hours working (full shadowing support will be provided for those new to this responsibility).
- Deputising for theTeam Manager as required

This is a senior role within amultidisciplinary team that consists of both highly experienced and newly qualified professionals, all committed to delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in our local community. The post holder will be required to work at the base Monday - Friday 9-5pm
