Full Job Description
Due to exciting developments within our Emergency Department, we are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking Registered Nurses to join our team as Deputy Sister/Charge Nurses. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and strong clinical leadership within a fast-paced and rewarding emergency care environment.
Our Emergency Department is innovative, dynamic and recognised for delivering excellent patient outcomes and high standards across key quality indicators. We are committed to continuous improvement and providing outstanding care, whilst creating a positive, supportive and inclusive workplace for our staff.
As a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in the daily coordination of the department, leading and supporting colleagues to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will help maintain patient flow, promote clinical excellence and drive quality improvements across all areas of the department.
We are committed to supporting your professional and leadership development. With guidance from our Lead Nursing Team, you will have access to tailored learning opportunities to help you reach your full potential whilst making a real difference to patients, colleagues and the wider organisation. Join us and help shape the future of emergency care.
We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as 'outstanding' for care and our King's Mill Hospital as the only 'outstanding' NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
