Deputy Shop Manager

Were looking for a proactive and reliable Deputy Shop Manager to help run our busy charity shops. This is a hands on role where no two days are the same, from merchandising and stock sorting to supporting volunteers and delivering great customer service. Youll work closely with the Shop Manager to keep everything running smoothly and step up to lead the shop when theyre away. Its a great opportunity for someone who enjoys retail, working with people and being part of a supportive team., What youll be doing Supporting the day to day running of the shop, ensuring its well organised, welcoming and ready for customers Helping to drive sales by creating attractive displays and maintaining high shop floor standards Assisting with stock management: sorting, pricing and displaying donated goods Leading the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager Supporting the recruitment, training and motivation of volunteers Delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience Handling cash, banking and shop administration accurately Making sure health and safety and security procedures are followed at all times Promoting the shop and the wider work of the organisation in the local community
