Deputy Service Manager

As Deputy Service Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead the service and support a dedicated team of colleagues.

You'll be responsible for:

- Leading, supporting and developing your team

- Creating and reviewing person-centred support plans

- Completing care needs assessments

- Supporting recruitment, induction, supervisions and appraisals

- Completing medication competencies and audits

- Attending multi-disciplinary meetings and completing reports

- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service

- Taking part in the on-call rota, depending on service needs

- Staying hands-on and connected to the people we support

Previous experience in a care management role

- A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care

- Experience supporting people with acquired brain injury and autism

- Experience working with complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and behaviours of distress

- Strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
