Deputy Service Manager

As Deputy Service Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead the service and support a dedicated team of colleagues. You'll be responsible for:

• Leading, supporting and developing your team
• Creating and reviewing person-centred support plans
• Completing care needs assessments
• Supporting recruitment, induction, supervisions and appraisals
• Completing medication competencies and audits
• Attending multi-disciplinary meetings and completing reports
• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
• Taking part in the on-call rota, depending on service needs
• Staying hands-on and connected to the people we support

• Previous experience in a care management role
• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
• Experience supporting people with acquired brain injury and autism
• Experience working with complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and behaviours of distress
• Strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
