Bourne End Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Deputy SENCo to support the strategic development of our SEND provision. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the SENCo and senior leadership team to ensure inclusive, high-quality support for all students. - Support the SENCo in leading and managing SEND provision across the academy
- Coordinate interventions and monitor student progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure effective differentiation and inclusive practice
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Contribute to EHCP processes, reviews, and documentation
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant educational qualification - Knowledge and understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to analyse data and monitor student progress to inform interventions

Pay range: NJC SCP 27 - 32 (37 hours/39 weeks) £34,495.07 - £38,557.60 (Includes fringe allowance) FTE: £39,220.00 - £43,839.00 (Includes fringe allowance), Financial and Lifestyle We offer a strong financial package including access to defined benefit pension schemes (LGPS or TPS), life cover at three times pensionable pay, and 31 days of annual leave for year-round employees.
