Deputy Nursery Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join a welcoming nursery in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional with strong management or leadership experience who is ready to take on a senior role and support the effective running of the nursery.
This is a full-time position offering a salary of up to 35,000, with the opportunity to work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team to maintain high standards of care, education and Early Years practice.
You will be:

Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running and management of the nursery

Providing effective leadership, guidance and support to the Early Years team
+
Delegating responsibilities and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the setting
+
Supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality Early Years provision in line with the EYFS
+
Monitoring children's learning, development and wellbeing
+
Supporting staff development, teamwork and high standards of professional practice
+
Maintaining strong safeguarding, health and safety and compliance standards
+
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
+
Assisting with nursery administration, policies and procedures, Supporting the Nursery Manager with the continued development and improvement of the setting

The successful candidate will be an experienced Early Years professional with previous management, supervisory or leadership experience within a nursery setting. A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable, alongside a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development. Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills are essential.
