Full Job Description
- Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Helping to lead and motivate the staff team to maintain high standards of care and education
- Ensuring the delivery of engaging learning experiences in line with EYFS
- Supporting staff development and maintaining a positive team culture
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Supporting safeguarding, compliance, and operational standards
- Promoting outdoor learning opportunities, including forest school activities
Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential - Previous experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager - essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- A nurturing and child-focused approach to early years care
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support staff and build positive relationships with families
- Passion for outdoor learning and child development
