Deputy Nurse Manager

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team., As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will support the Registered Manager and work alongside the Clinical Lead in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to the highest standards.,

• Work closely with the people we support and their families, empowering them to make decisions about their lives while ensuring their personal needs are met.
• Support the Registered Manager & Clinical Lead in all aspects of running the home, including:
• Staff supervision
• Rotas
• Care planning
• Quality assurance
• Training
• Budget management
• Clinical oversight
• Medication management
• Work on the floor as Nurse in Charge when required.
• Monitor activities and ensure the quality of care and support meets company policies and regulatory standards.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, development, and best practice across the service.
• Represent the organisation professionally in all internal and external relationships.
• Participate in the on-call rota alongside the Home Manager.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role
• Valid NMC Pin
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practice in supporting older people and individuals living with dementia
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
