As the Deputy Nurse Manager will support the Home Manager in leading and inspiring the nursing and care teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service, maintaining excellent standards of care and regulatory compliance, while remaining actively involved in clinical practice.,

• Assist the Home Manager in overseeing all aspects of care delivery and staff supervision
• Provide clinical leadership on shift, including medication management and hands-on support
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidelines
• Support and develop the nursing and care teams through supervision and mentoring
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to audits, care plans, and quality initiatives
• Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals
• Promote a positive, inclusive culture that prioritises dignity, independence, and wellbeing

• Proven experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager or similar senior nursing role in a care home
• Experience working with older adults, including those with dementia
• Strong leadership and communication skills
