Full Job Description
Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join the team at their luxury nursing home. The Deputy Nurse Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to residents and supporting the overall leadership and management of the nursing team.,
- Supporting the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations
- Conducting regular assessments of residents' needs and collaborating with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
- Acting as a liaison between the nursing team, residents, and their families, promoting open communication and addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of care standards and participating in quality assurance initiatives
Valid registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in caring for older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion
