Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join the transforming Community Mental Health Team in Coventry . We are currently embarking on a change of base, currently based at Swanswell Point but soon to be dispersing into North, West and East neighborhood teams. This will enable us to deliver a higher standard of care to the communities we serve.
The successful candidate will assist the team manager with the day to day running of the team. Their role will involve supporting staff with complex cases, providing supervision and carrying a small caseload of patients themselves.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking candidates who have some experience of working in mental health settings who are innovative, dynamic and are looking to develop their clinical and managerial skills.
The successful candidate will receive support, managerial and professional supervision from the line manager in the CMHT. Peer support and CPD opportunities are also available and actively encouraged.
This is an exciting time to be part of the Community Mental Team as the service is undergoing changes which we are hopeful will positively impact staff and patients alike.
