Are you passionate about Leadership and Mental Health? Are you driven to ensure provision is of high quality? We are seeking a friendly and focussed Team Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team where our focus is to provide psycho-education to those who experience mental health difficulties. The team is seeking someone who is a visible, confident, operational leader for STEP, focussing on the day to day management and leadership of the service alongside the Team Manager. We offer a positive and quality mental health provision to the people of Sheffield. This includes the development and facilitation of courses within our core contract with Sheffield City Council whilst supporting the work model into the Primary and Community Mental Health Team (PCMH). You will have the unique opportunity to support the Team Manager in overseeing our training programmes ensuring that we deliver the highest quality service to our learners/clients. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, learners/clients and other stakeholders to create effective strategies that enhance educational and mental health outcomes. As the Deputy Manager you will play an important part in assessing performance metrics, implementing innovative solutions and embracing best practices. Together we can make a difference while growing both personally and professionally in a supportive community., STEP offers a range of recovery and preventative focussed educational programmes for people with needs related to their mental health.
- Relevant operational management knowledge, experience and ability to be able to 'hit the ground running' and contribute to the successful delivery of this role.
- Ability to deal effectively with day to day leadership challenges as well as being an excellent team player. Ability to support the team with business as usual alongside ongoing development.
