Deputy Headteacher

The Deputy Headteacher will provide strategic leadership across the Federation for:

• Leading a designated Progression Step across both schools
• Standards, Curriculum, Teaching and Learning
• Curriculum development and review
• Assessment, progress tracking and data analysis
• Staff professional learning and teaching improvement
• Ensuring consistency and effective practice across the Federation
• Working closely with the Headteacher, staff, governors and school communities., An opportunity to lead and influence the development of two unique schools.

The successful candidate must be able to lead, communicate and build strong professional relationships through both Welsh and English., An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk Welsh language level - verbal Level 5 - You will need to be able to communicate fluently in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
