The Governing Body of Penwortham Girls' High School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher for Inclusion and Achievement to join our Senior Leadership Team. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the school's strategic approach to achievement, inclusion and Pupil Premium and make a significant contribution to the next stage of our development.
Working closely with the Headteacher, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for achievement across the school, sustaining and strengthening high achievement for all students. They will work with leaders at all levels to ensure that students do well, are well supported and have every opportunity to belong, achieve and thrive.
We are looking for an inspirational and compassionate leader with a strong track record of school improvement, high expectations for every student and the ability to support, challenge and develop others. With our new school building opening in January 2027, this is an exciting time to join a successful and ambitious school and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our journey.
