Deputy Headteacher Salary: L18 - L22 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: January 2027 (or sooner if possible) Location: Chorley, Lancashire Closing Date: Thursday 25th June at 12:00pm Interview Dates: Tuesday 30th June & Wednesday 1st July Due to the internal promotion of our current leader, the Governors and Trustees are seeking to appoint an inspiring, ambitious, and committed Deputy Headteacher . This critical role is perfect for an experienced Assistant Headteacher ready for the next stage of leadership, or an existing Deputy Headteacher looking to make a significant impact in an exceptional school community . Key Areas of Responsibility The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher across several key strategic areas :
- Strategic Leadership of Achievement: Lead on Progress 8 tracking, exams analysis, and school performance data .
- Quality of Education: Oversee assessment frameworks, student tracking, and departmental development plans.
- Behaviour & Inclusion: Act as the strategic lead for behaviour across the school, managing interventions and the inclusion unit .
