Deputy Head Teacher

This Deputy Headteacher role has a clear strategic focus on:

• Early Years leadership and development
• Safeguarding (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
• Mental Health Lead
• Pupil Premium Lead
You will play a central role in shaping the earliest experiences of our children, ensuring strong foundations for learning, development and wellbeing., We are a one-form entry primary school with a strong inclusive ethos. A significant number of our pupils have additional needs, with fifty-three having an EHCP and many families require ongoing support. This role is key in ensuring that early identification, intervention and care are embedded from the very start of a child's journey with us.


• Can lead and inspire excellence in Nursery, Pre School, Reception and beyond
• Is experienced and confident in managing Safeguarding
• Understands how to support children with additional needs within inclusive classrooms
• Builds strong, trusting relationships with families
• Demonstrates resilience, warmth and professional integrity
• Can work effectively in a school with complex and varied needs

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional with a strong background in Early Years education, alongside expertise in safeguarding and inclusive practice., This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
