This Deputy Headteacher role has a clear strategic focus on:

  • Early Years leadership and development
  • Safeguarding (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
  • Mental Health Lead
  • Pupil Premium Lead
  • You will play a central role in shaping the earliest experiences of our children, ensuring strong foundations for learning, development and wellbeing., We are a one-form entry primary school with a strong inclusive ethos. A significant number of our pupils have additional needs, with fifty-three having an EHCP and many families require ongoing support. This role is key in ensuring that early identification, intervention and care are embedded from the very start of a child's journey with us.

  • Can lead and inspire excellence in Nursery, Pre School, Reception and beyond
  • Is experienced and confident in managing Safeguarding
  • Understands how to support children with additional needs within inclusive classrooms
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with families
  • Demonstrates resilience, warmth and professional integrity
  • Can work effectively in a school with complex and varied needs
  • Has experience in coaching and supporting staff
